At Kushies, for example, which holds frequent sales touting up to 40 percent off select baby wear, you’ll find deals in the clearance section on basics such as nightgowns, jammies, and cardigans for up to 60 percent off. Since babies and toddlers aren’t picky, they’ll wear most anything you buy, so you might as well snag the sale items.
Your buying power might not last long though. My daughter and I still talk about the time I chased her around the house, trying to “persuade” her to wear the cute (on sale) pants and top I had purchased online while she was at daycare. It was a losing proposition because by then she was 4, and already had her own taste in clothes.
