Red pepper may be linked to salmonella

Just when you thought it was safe to add some spice to your life, the Food and Drug Administration is invesigating a possible link between crushed red-pepper flakes found in some processed foods and cases of salmonella.

The agency is not completely sure the outbreak of salmonella and the red-pepper flakes are related, but better safe than sorry. Check out our sister blog for more details.
