Bed bugs aren’t something you expect to bring home after a fun shopping spree. But if you happened to be shopping at two out of the three Abercrombie and Fitch stores in Manhattan or its sister store, Hollister, in New York’s Soho, lately, you better check those purchases for the pesky critters.
All three stores have been temporarily closed due to bed bug infestations. If you discover bedbugs, return the merchandise.
Reportedly the stores are quarantining and testing returned items. And The Wall Street Journal reports that you should be able to get the price back, plus you might even be able to recover for the “consequential injuries.”
According to Bedbugger.com the typical itchy bites are uncomfortable and can lead to infection if scratched—not to mention the stress and financial tolls getting rid of these pests can take.
