HAMMOCK STANDS About 2,300 standard and economy hammock stands sold by Twin Oaks catalog and website, craft fairs and independent retail stores nationwide from December 2007 through June 2011 for between $100 and $150. The foot brackets used to support the hammock can crack, causing the stand to collapse. This poses a fall hazard to consumers. Twin Oaks has received 43 reports of cracked foot brackets, including several reports of consumers who fell to the ground when the foot brackets collapsed. No injuries have been reported.

UTILITY KNIVES About 1,800 Greenlee folding pocket utility knives sold by distributors of professional tools and products nationwide from September 2011 through November 2011 for about $20. The blade locking mechanism can fail, allowing the blade to fold inward toward the handle, posing a laceration hazard. The firm has received one report of the blade lock failing. No injuries have been reported.

STREUSEL TOPPED FRUIT PIES Price Chopper Supermarkets is issuing a voluntary recall on its Price Chopper Bakery five- and eight-inch apple,blueberry, cherry, and peach streusel pies due to the streusel topping containing eggs, an allergen that was not listed on the ingredient label. Other than this labeling issue, the product is safe for consumption for those not allergic to eggs.
