One of the best parts of my job is researching all the cool shopping sites and apps we feature in ShopSmart. I try out all of them and some stick as personal faves. This year it was really tough to choose the best sites and apps, as well as our top shopping tips, for our January issue. It’s been a really strong year for shopping innovations—lots of cool new tools make it easier than ever to shop and save. A few of my personal faves:
SITES
CouponBlender.com for the best deals from dozens of coupon sites.
LocalHarvest.org for finding a farmer’s market near you.
TheBudgetBabe.com for hot celeb looks for less.
Wag.com for fun pet toys, food and gear (plus free shipping when you spend $49 hear and/or at sister sites Diapers.com, Soap.com, Yoyo.com (toys), Casa.com (housewares), BeautyBar.com, Bookworm.com, Vine.com (green goods), and AfterSchool.com (sports stuff).
APPS
CardStar for organizing all those loyalty cards and showing pop-up discounts too.
RetailMeNot for coupon codes on the go.
ShopKick for earning points just for walking by (or into) participating stores.
Viber for calling and texting for free. Yep, free!

Why don't you have a online version for those who subscribe to your magazine or just an online subscription n itself like consumer reports does? I love your magazine.
