It was like grown-up playtime! They give you basic styles to choose from—pumps, platforms, strappy sandals, wedges, and more. Then you pick the material (leather or patent); the straps, the trim, doodads (bows, cut-outs, rhinestones), and the heel (the same or a contrasting color).
And when I read the user reviews, people who did this loved their own creations—a lot of them cyber-crafted their own wedding shoes.
The pair I designed and
covet are shown here, in pink. The cost is not cheap for a DIY job; these pumps
will set me back $295. But of course this is is all cyber fun for the moment.
I'm putting them on my wish-list.
