Download the ShopSmart logo here (use the correct file for your machine, above right) and follow your sewing machine’s directions for downloading embroidery programs.

Directions

  1. Cut canvas 18 inches wide and 40 inches long; fold in half to determine front and back panels for the bag.
  2. Center the stabilizer on the back of the front panel and apply according to directions; this will keep the embroidery smooth. Then hoop the fabric and stabilizer according to your machine’s directions.
  3. Center logo in the hoop on the front panel; embroider it according to your machine’s directions. Trim jump threads on the logo front; trim the stabilizer close to the logo on the back.
  4. Fold fabric in half, right sides together; stitch side seams.
  5. Press seams open. Press top edge of bag a quarter inch to inside, fold over 11/2 inches more and stitch all the way around 1 3/8 inches from outer edge. This will finish the top edge of the bag.
  6. One at a time, pull out the bottom corners of the bag into a triangle. Measure down 2 inches from the top of the triangle and stitch a straight line 4 inches across to form the bottom, trim to a •-inch seam; finish with zigzag stitching.
  7. Cut webbing in half. Seal cut ends with heat seal. Pin handles 4 inches from each side seam (on the inside) and secure by stitching an X inside a box. Trim threads and go shopping!
